Beth Potter, born 1991, first began competing as a runner in 2004. Since then, she has witnessed considerable success as a runner, including competing at the Rio Olympic Games and winning the 10,000 metres at the British trials in 2017. That same year, Potter announced that she would transition from track running to triathlon, with the goal to compete at the 2020 Olympic Games. In 2017 she finished third at the Blenheim Palace Triathlon and took first place in the Cardiff Triathlon. Since transitioning to triathlon, Potter has also competed in the Super league Triathlon Championship Series, taking home the win in London and second place in Rotterdam in 2021.
